McDonald’s waste makes up largest proportion of fast food litt…

Wrappers and cups from McDonald’s meals make up nearly a third of fast food litter on Britain’s streets, according to a survey. By Louise Gray, Environment Correspondent

Keep Britain Tidy looked at litter in 10 cities over two days in the first attempt to discover which brand names were most commonly discarded.

Fast food litter was second to cigarette ends in littering the country’s streets and 29 per cent of that was from McDonald’s restaurants, followed by boxes and cups from unbranded kebab and fast food shops. Greggs the bakers generated almost a fifth of the fast food litter, followed by Kentucky Fried Chicken, Subway and a number of coffee brands.

I discovered the same thing in the United States last January as recorded on my blog, The Earth Is Not a Trash Can.

Fast Food Trash Finale

whitecastle_0855.jpg

Here are the final pictures I took the day I found all the fast food litter (Taco Bell and White Castle) on Newsom Station Road. You know what it tastes like; you know what it looks like; you know what it tastes like a few hours later; you now know what it looks like days later on the street.

Feel free to contact the fast food vendors and let them know how you feel about their clients trashing our earth. Remember, too, that my dog once refused to eat a McDonald’s burger.

And Now, More Fast Food Litter: Wendy’s

wendys_0873-copy.jpgwendys_0921.jpgwendys_0901.jpgwendys_0874.jpg

I used to have an addiction to Wendy’s Frosties. But going vegetarian cured that craving. I can’t come up with any putdown for a franchise that promotes itself with wigs with upturned pigtails. I just hope that the guy featured on the cup above was paid well. Anyway, if you have to eat this stuff, please don’t litter.

McDonalds Is the King of Litter

We find more trash from McDonalds fast food than any other. I consider McDonalds an evil empire.

If we could eliminate all the meat processing that supplies McDonalds, global warming would be a thing of the past.

Fast Food Faction

Here is trash from Bojangles and Caption Ds that I discovered near my home.

Fortunately, some wonderful person has picked up most the fast food litter, but I’ve noticed that new fast food trash is added daily.
