When Easter Is Over, Hide the Eggs

abandonedegg_14801I found this lonely plastic pink Easter egg sitting on top of a storm drain on my street. When it looked up at me with its pin hole eyes, I just could not let it get broken into pieces and enter our water supply.

I did not want it to end up in the belly of a fish or a sea turtle.

Unfortunately, it is being hauled away to a landfill today. Poor fellow.
