Hangers? I mean, seriously, do we really need eco-friendly clothing hangers?

Yes, we do. I take my wire hangers back to the dry cleaners. I use the plastic hangers as long as possible.

Yes, Steven, we really do need eco-friendly clothing hangers. We’ve researched the subject and found that from 8-10 billion plastic hangers are made every year with a whopping 85% of them sent to landfills. They’re made of polystyrene, which leach benzene into the ground water and polycarbonate which leach bisphenol-A. They are horribly wasteful and can last upwards of 1,000 years in a landfill.

We do need ecological hangers. Now more than ever.
