The Presidential Debate Has Come to Nashville

Blogging will be minimal tonight, as I’m prepping to watch the debate live from my home town, Nashville, Tenn. I just watched Lou Dobbs interview Mitt Romney, who is in Nashville. This is the biggest political event in Nashville since Richard Nixon played the piano at the Grand Ole Opry in 1974.

For the first time in months, it rained all day.

Let’s see who blinks, or winks, first tonight.

Very cool. I was born in Oxford, MS and went to school in Memphis, TN. I have since moved on, but it struck me as totally cool that places which are both so near and dear to me got to host the only two Presidential debates this year. It also kind of made me think of the Manning connection. I don’t know why – it just did. Eli went to Ole Miss and Peyton went to UT. I know the second debate wasn’t at UT – just sayin’ Cool blog!
