Bedding for Wild Life?

mattresses_0216.jpgWe find lots of mattresses thrown away because some lazy individual would have to drive a few miles to a legal dumpsite. On the day that we took this photo, someone had propped a mattress on a signpost on Hwy 70S in Bellevue. Do wild animals know to use this rectangular litter as a place to sleep? Possibly a raccoon, after eating all the french fries left in fast food wrappings tossed from cars, will curl up for a nap.
